Construction to commence on the Honeywood Clubrooms
The time has come for the construction to commence on the Honeywood Clubrooms. More information can be found on the City of Kwinana's website (linked).
Our TLFM market owner has been working with the City of Kwinana since the announcement last year to minimise the impact on the markets and to ensure the market can stay open on the Honeywood Oval grassed surface during the construction phase.
The gravel carpark on Litoria Drive will be fenced off during construction, so we kindly ask our market visitors to park in the Honeywood Primary School carparks, or walk and ride to the markets where possible to help ease the traffic. This is only for a short time and there will be a brand-new, 100+ bay carpark coming soon!

It’s great to see the Honeywood Clubrooms project moving ahead, especially with the new facility set to provide useful spaces for local sporting clubs and community groups. Projects like this can make a real difference to how residents connect and make use of shared spaces. It also got me thinking about how community-focused developments can take inspiration from different parts of the world, including construction bali and its approach to creating practical, welcoming spaces. Hopefully the construction runs smoothly and causes as little disruption as possible for the school, markets and nearby residents.
